Ⅰ Procedures

1. Get registered in the library: The reader can holdthe valid ID card and activates the borrowing function through the self-service registrationmachine or the service robot. After the successful operation, the entity ID card is not issued. The ID card number is the reader card number. The password defaults to the last six digits of the ID card. After the application is completed, you can choose to enter the face information and open the function of borrowing the face.

2. Get registered through Alipayng: Open the Alipay interfaceandenter the “LifeStyle”, search for “中新天津生态城图书档案馆” and friend it,thenclick “Register”and complete the registration according to the prompts.

3. Foreigners who wants to open the borrowing function need to takethe passportsto the service deskfor registration.

Ⅱ Functionof the reader’s card

Registered readers can use the wifi in the library for free, borrowinglibrary materials, downloading e-books, and loggingin to the APP of thelibrary to obtain electronic resources.

Ⅲ Cancellation of the reader’s card

Please go to the service desk with your valid ID and return the borrowed documents before get cancellation. If there are any lost or damaged books, please followthe relevant regulations of compensation.

Ⅳ Modification of the password

If the readersneed to change thepasswords, please visit our applicationor WeChat officialaccount formodification.

Ⅴ Time

All theopening hours of the library and itsbranchs.

Ⅵ Notice

Each person is limited to one cardforborrowing bothadult and children's books with one same card.

Instructions for children to apply for registration

ⅠApplicable age

Applicable age: 6-14 years old.

ⅡRequired documents

Please hold the child's ID card (priority recommendation) or household registration book.

Ⅲ Application method

If you hold the ID card, please get registered through the self-service machine. If you hold the household registration book, please go to the service desk to manually apply for registration.

Ⅳ Card category

The reader card is the virtual card and the ID number is the reader card number. The password is the Last 6 digits of ID card 

Ⅴ Logoff or cancel the lending function

Readers need to go to the main service desk to cancel or cancel the lending function. When readers cancel their registration, please bring the valid identification to the service desk and return the borrowed books. If there are any lost or damaged books, they will be dealt with according to the library's “Compensation Measures for Lost or Damaged Books". When entrusting someone else to handle it, it is necessary to present the reader's ID, valid identification documents of the person and the agent.

Each person can only apply for one reader card and can be only used by the registrant.

 Notice for readers in Children Eco Library

 The Children Eco Library serves teenagers aged 6-12. Provide children's book borrowing and newspaper reading services. Readers can go to the self-service borrowing machine with their ID card (or children's reader card) to apply for book borrowing services.

Article 1: Readers are requested to comply with various regulations. Guardians must take full care of the ward throughout the entire process, actively take preventive measures and take full responsibility for their behavior, health, and safety.

Article 2: Please maintain a quiet and tidy reading environment. It is strictly prohibited to engage in uncivilized behaviors such as noise, chasing, and littering.

Article 3: Please place your personal belongings in the storage area and keep your valuable items safe. If lost, you will be responsible for it.

Article 4: Please consciously abide by all regulations and obey the management of the staff.

Article 5: Please take good care of books and various facilities. If books are lost or damaged, compensation shall be made in accordance with the "Compensation Measures for Lost or Damaged Books"; If the facilities are damaged, compensation must be made according to the price.

 Notice for readers in the visually impaired reading room

The room provides services such as borrowing Braille books and listening to audiobooks for visually impaired readers, and also organizes various activities for visually impaired readers.

1. Visually impaired readers shall call the service desk one day in advance to make an appointment. The opening hours of this room are the same as the opening hours of the library. Appointment phone number is 66383366.

2. Visually impaired readers can borrow 10 Braille books for 60 days, which can be renewed once for 30 days. Renewal can be handled through the the website, APP, wechat official account or telephone.

3. Audiobooks and electronic books are not borrowed and can only be read in this room.

4. The library staff can assist readers in selecting materials and providing online services. If you need to upload or download materials on your computer, please contact our staff and do not install mobile storage devices on your own. To ensure the normal operation of the computer system, please do not modify or delete software.

5. Please take good care of Braille books. Borrowed Braille books must not be scratched, folded, stained, torn, or lost. Otherwise, compensation will be made according to the "Compensation Measures for Lost and Damaged Books".
